If you’ve never ever been skiing or snowboarding before, the best option for you is the First Timer Package, including lessons, lift tickets and rental equipment. The First Timer lessons for both kids and adults to get you up and sliding as quickly and safely as possible!
Product Description
• Arrive on mountain approx. 9am (transfers from Queenstown & Wanaka usually arrive at this time). Self-drive should aim to arrive at similar time
• Collect RFID card, rental & tickets on-mountain or to save time, collect your card & rentals in advance from either our Queenstown or Wanaka offices
• First lessons begin from 10.20am & run for 2 hours.
• Stop for a lunch break (lunch not included).
• Second lesson (Day 1 only) begins at 1pm for 2.5 hours duration, finishing at 3.30pm.
• Day 2 & 3 take a morning (10.20am) or afternoon lesson (2pm) with the rest of the day free to prac-tice your skills & explore the mountain.
Highlights
1 Day : Learners conveyor pass, + 1 ride on McDougall’s Express Chondola, 4.5 hrs of group lessons.
2 Day : 2–3: Full chairlift pass and 1 x group lesson (2 hours duration) per day.
Equipment rental for duration of the package.
All inclusive package includes clothing, and accessories.

- Adult: 18 years +
- Snowboarding from 7 years +
- For lessons age is taken as at date of travel
Rental Definitions
- Equipment - set of skis, boots, poles or snowboard, boots and wristguards
- Clothing – jacket and pants
- Accessories – helmet, goggles and gloves

Price includes
- First Timer lesson start times: 10.20am, 11am, 11.30am and 2pm. The afternoon lesson is only 2.5hrs if the morning lesson is taken at 10.20am - the 11am and 11.30am morning sessions have a 2pm / 2hr afternoon lesson./li> On your 2nd and 3rd days, you’ll get started in the morning with a 2hr lesson, then have the afternoon free to practice and explore. /li>
Cancellation policy
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 45 days or more before the start of the tour, the cancellation fee will be equivalent to the deposit paid
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 30 to 45 days before the start of the tour the cancellation fee shall be 25% of the contract price
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 7 to 30 days before the start of the tour the cancellation fee shall be 50% of the contract price
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 7 days or less before the start of the tour the cancellation fee shall be 100% of the contract price
