  • Day 1 : Christchurch

    Welcome to Christchurch. 

    On arrival you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your first night’s accommodation. Your detailed tour information pack will be given to you once you arrive at your accommodation.

    Take the rest of the day to relax and explore the inner city, with its world famous botanic gardens. The city has bounced back from the devastating 2010 earthquake and is once again a very vibrant place.

  • Day 2 : Christchurch - Mount Cook

    Take a journey to see New Zealand's highest mountain - Aoraki/Mt Cook, in the heart of the pristine World Heritage Park. On your way, pass by lush countryside as your driver gives you his/her vast knowledge of the region.

    On the way, stop at the Church of the Good Shepherd - the most-photographed church in New Zealand - which rests on the shores of Lake Tekapo. On arrival at Mt Cook Village, you have time to grab a bite to eat (own expense) and explore the gorgeous alpine community nestled at the foot of the mighty snow-capped mountain. Take advantage of your time here to enjoy the majestic scenery. There is time to experience an optional scenic helicopter or ski plane flight (check with your driver on the day). This an additional cost and weather permitting.

    Following our stop at Aoraki / Mount Cook we continue south through the tawny tussock of the Mackenzie Country, stopping for afternoon tea (own expense) in the quaint village of Omarama and a visit to the Jones Family Orchard (time permitting) near Cromwell. Our tour concludes in the evening in world famous Queenstown.

  • Day 3 : Taupo -Welllington via Tongariro National Park

    Surrounded by majestic mountains, Queenstown boasts adventure activities in all forms, from extreme to relaxed exploration. Here you can experience the Ultimate bungy jump, pan for gold, raft the white water rapids, follow a wine trail, fish for trout, play golf – your options are endless.

    We have organised a fantastic heli-wine experience today!

  • Day 4 : Queenstown - Milford Sound -Queenstown

  • Day 5 : Queenstown - Fox Glacier

     

    Passing through a number of national parks today, the road from Wanaka to Fox Glacier and Haast winds its way along Lake Hawea first, then through majestic Mt Aspiring National Park, until you reach the town of Haast on the West Coast, which is located in the heart of Te Wāhipounamu World Heritage Area. The road between Haast and Fox Glacier continues along the rugged West Coast with lush native bush and rainforest.

    From Fox Glacier township you'll have a number of options to explore the extraordinary glaciers.

  • Day 7 : Fox Glacier - Queenstown

    Travel from the remote splendour of Fox Glacier to the exciting adventure playground that is Queenstown on this full-day sightseeing tour.

    Step on board a luxury coach in the small village of Fox Glacier on New Zealand's West Coast and travel through lush native rainforest and along the untamed rocky coastline. Journey through the Haast Pass, the southernmost pass between the South Island's two coasts, surrounded by native beech forest, waterfalls and crystal-clear rivers.

    On the other side of the Southern Alps, enjoy picture-postcard views of vibrant blue glacier-fed lakes like Lake Hawea, Lake Wanaka and Lake Dunstan.

    Your day tour concludes late afternoon in world famous Queenstown.

  • Day 8 : Fly Queenstown - Auckland

    On arrival your shuttle driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall and take you to your hotel. From there, it is a 20 minute drive the city centre.

    You’ll take the rest of the day to relax and explore the inner city. The city centre of Auckland is not too big, so you can easily walk around. Visit the Skytower to take in great views of the city, and stroll around the waterfront with its many nice bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a great meal.

  • Day 9 : Auckland - Bay of Islands -Auckland

  • Day 11 : Rotorua- Taupo

    The journey to Rotorua to Taupo is only about an hour this morning. About 2 kms north of Taupo, a must see are the impressive Huka Falls. This is where the Waikato River, New Zealand's longest river, enters a shallow ravine of hard volcanic rock. The resulting sight is nothing but spectacular. More than 220,000 liters of water per second rushes by.

    A thrilling jetboat ride up to the base of the Huka Falls is not only an exciting way to see the falls, but you'll also get the best views.

  • Day 12 : Taupo -Rotorua

  • Day 13 : Rotorua- Auckland

    You'll have the morning in Rotorua at your leisure, before your journeys ends and you return to Auckland.

  • Day 14 : End of the Tour

     

    Today the taxi will pick you up from the hotel and takes you to the airport. 

     

  • Day 15 : Kaikoura -Wellington

    As you travel to Picton to catch your ferry ride back to the North Island, the journey continues on Blenheim and wine country Marlborough, world famous for its Sauvignon Blanc wines.

    You will be returning to Wellington the same day to continue your journey on the North Island.
