Hidden in the stunning Mt Aspiring National Park, a UNECSO World Heritage area. This day trip is a step up in adrenaline and natural beauty! If you have been canyoning before, or you're super confident and looking for a good challenge this is the option for you! . Travel time is approximately 2 hours each way from Queenstown, and 1 hour each way from Wanaka. Walking time to the start of the canyon is approximately 25 minutes.
You get a bit of everything in this canyon, enjoy down climbs, a 10 metre jump, slides, swimming and abseiling down pumping waterfalls!
Highlights
Provide all the canyoning equipment including wetsuits, socks, shoes, helmets and harness. Transfers to the canyon locations are included and hotels pick up in Queenstown and Wanaka are available on request. Include a picnic style lunch.

Canyoning New Zealand have 3 locations available to suit a range of ages and abilities, from the first time canyoner right through to the experienced adventure seeker! Canyoning is an activity that allows you to get up close and personal with some pure, raw and amazing New Zealand scenery that may have been otherwise inaccessible.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy an ultimate multi-sport adventure where you jump, swim, slide, abseil and climb your way through some of the most amazing scenery New Zealand has to offer.

Departure Time : 8.30am Queenstown - 8 hours return and 9.30am Wanaka - 6 hours return.

- Must have good swimming ability
- You need to fit into the equipment i.e. wetsuits and harnesses. So if your're an extra small/large sized person, please get in touch with us.
- Passengers are required to check in 30 minutes prior to their booking time.
- Open only from October to April.
Cancellation policy
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 45 days or more before the start of the tour, the cancellation fee will be equivalent to the deposit paid
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 30 to 45 days before the start of the tour the cancellation fee shall be 25% of the contract price
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 7 to 30 days before the start of the tour the cancellation fee shall be 50% of the contract price
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 7 days or less before the start of the tour the cancellation fee shall be 100% of the contract price
